NOW Super Enzymes contain a broad array of digestive enzymes designed to assist your body in the digestion of many different types of food. A few people who use NOW Super Enzymes experience a reaction to the protein digesting enzymes in this formula (Pancreatin, Bromelain & Papain) or to the acid (Betaine HCl). This may occur if the person had an irritated stomach lining prior to using Super Enzymes, and these particular enzymes may worsen this existing condition. Or someone with elevated stomach acid may not need a formula containing extra acid. NOW also produces a vegetarian source plant enzyme blend designed to aid digestion: Optimum Digestive System. Discontinue use of these enzymes if you experience any sort of stomach irritation during supplementation. This product does not contain any salicylates.
Other Ingredients: Cellulose, Silica, Stearic Acid (vegetable source), Magnesium Stearate (vegetable source), Croscarmellose Sodium and Pharmaceutical Glaze. Contains sulfites.
